What were your favourite clubs in the 1990s? Please do take this opportunity to share your memories.
I was a regualr at Club for Life at The Gardening Club (now the apple store) in the very early 90s, judge jules was there alot.
Malibu Stacey at the Hanover grand was one of my favourites and Friday nights at the ministry when Paul Oakenfold was there.

That's really funny, that's like the list of my favourite clubs earlier in the thread... makes you wonder how many people on WHO you were rubbing shoulders with two decades ago...
Definitely mate! I remember recognising a lad from the South Bank on a night out and it blew our minds! In fact, did anyone go to a Bellissima NYE do in a disused gym by the Bow Flyover around 94??!

Saw some poor bloke take a pasting off 6 or 7 lumps for not paying after they found a stash. Put any of my lot off taking the risk so my nights out i often got paid for going! He who dares Rodney

Yea I rember they found all out drugs once and made us pay to keep it. Obviously it was in our pants but they put their hands all over out knob and bolllocks to get it

Freedom @ Bagleys i can remember the bouncers were a nasty bunch of fucks (big fucks too) vigorous searches like nowhere else in London. Yet once inside it was always a full on pill fest. Had my 1st horse tranquiliser in the ariel room NOT a good night.

In Brighton we had the Zap club
and that got all the big DJ's - Morales, MAW, Jah Shaka, Cox,
But the town was littered with venues in the early 90's
Escape, Volks, Loft, Shrine, Concorde etc
plus regular nights by Northern Exposure and Renaisance - Digweed, Healey, Oakenfold et al
Billy Nasty put on a blinding set at the Loft
then things turned to the Dark Black - and we got Ray Keith, Hype, Randall, Bukem, Goldie

How comes the people who took over The End got it so badly wrong? The place ended up an absolute clusterfuck of violence and disorder. People getting mugged and all sorts of stuff. Was it going that way before Mr C bailed out or was it completely down to the new owners. I know it was never the same.
They gave it a shit name too I remember I'm sure it was called The Den or something Millwall related.

Club 4 life Covent Garden and gardening club 2 regents street awesome nights
Freedom at bagleys - legendary Ariel 12 hr sets
Friday's nights at Turnmills Tall Paul was the resident Tony de vit used to come on early morning everyone was a mess by then
Enough to make you cum at Club Art they got some big DJs down there at the time some of the nights there were really good but was only open till 2am
Went to ministry quite a few times but different themes nights etc
Wish I gone in the early days ie Larry Levan residency
The End-only went there once the dj booth was in the middle of the dance floor Ben watt of EBTT was hosting a lazy dog night that was a good club

Rage, at Heaven, would have been my most frequented establishment in the first couple of years of said decade. I think I'd already finished with Limelights by the 90s...maybe not. So many one off events that I have no clue where we were.
Can't remember much, ergo, good days, obviously.

Pushca - Various locations until they started the club at Westminster

this was in an aircraft hanger in Berkshire..took ages to get there...kept getting diverted by police road blocks..made it in eventually.
